INSIDE A NAGOYA NA-701

This antenna has been tested on 145Mhz/433Mhz/1296Mhz and FM broadcast band. It works very
well on all bands with acceptable SWR on all of them.
A basic analysis using MMANA modelling software reveals that the antenna should also have a
sharp resonance at 100Mhz. Indeed it seems to work better than some other antennas at the
broadcast band.
It has been used for QSO's on 1296Mhz with an Alinco G7E and it works very well. It performs a
simple ¾ lambda antenna.

NOTE! There is NO connection to earth or ground in this antenna!
The antenna element is a wound bare copper wire around a plastic former. You will see that the top
half of the antenna is slightly smaller in diameter. There is no magic here, it jusr that the plasrtic
former is a smaller diameter ;-)

S艂owo wyja艣nienia w kwestii po艂膮cze艅:
Obw贸d rezonansowy LC i promiennik s膮 przy艂膮czone do 艣rodkowego pinu wtyczki. /HF5WWL/
